The Education: Memoirs Of People And Places Around The World
My final duty station in the Navy was in Sicily and my wife and I loved the lifestyle there. We had planned on staying, but after retiring from the Navy, I received news we were unable to work in Italy due to legal complications – so we prepared to return to the U.S. Unexpectedly, we received a forgotten trust from a relative who passed away, enabling us to take a year-long eye-opening tour of the world. Traveling through the vast expanse of Siberia, hiking the ramparts of the Great Wall of China, journeying down the Mekong River, exploring temples in Cambodia, fishing in New Zealand, surfing in Australia and driving across the Zulu lands of South Africa, we discovered the people and cultures that make up these fascinating places.
Follow our route – I dare you.
